Carlos and Francisco Olivera, Corbin McPeek attend 101 Mobility's 2015 Annual Conference

Carlos and Francisco Olivera, Corbin McPeek took part in this year's 101 Mobility conference.

Carlos Olivera, Francisco Olivera, and Corbin McPeek, franchisees with 101 Mobility, attended 101 Mobility’s 2015 Annual Conference at the Blockade Runner Beach Resort in Wrightsville Beach, NC. The event took place from June 4-6.

Every year, 101 Mobility, the top provider of mobility and accessibility solutions in the nation, hosts an annual conference to bring together all of its franchisees. The event is designed to help attendees learn, grow, and build relationships with one another and corporate staff.

"Hopefully you have learned much from this conference and have plenty of fun, new ideas to take home with you."

Chris Diehl, Franchise Business Development Manager at 101 Mobility

Along with 101 Mobility, this year’s conference also featured representatives from Bruno (Platinum Sponsor), Harmar (Gold Sponsor), Handicare and Human Care (Bronze Sponsors), and Philips Lifeline (Supporting Partner).

Carlos Olivera, Francisco Olivera, and Corbin McPeek, owners of 101 Mobility of Puerto Rico, were present this year to take place in the conference’s three-day workshops, breakout sessions, and festivities.

Traveling from Puerto Rico, Carlos, Francisco, and Corbin accomplished a series of training in sales, marketing, B2B relationships, and leadership. Attendees also gained insights on the company’s future, as well as new products and services being offered.

This year’s guest speaker was Bob Shennett, a Retail Leader at Apple with over 25 years of experience equipping leaders in the retail and service industry. From his experience in several executive roles at Apple, Sprint, and Comcast Wireless, Shennett spoke to 101 Mobility franchisees on how to utilize communication to build an exceptional business.

The last night of the conference, 101 Mobility held an Awards Gala Dinner, where live music from Chris Bellamy was featured. Bellamy, a North Carolina native, has opened up for acts such as Jimmy Buffet and Willy Nelson.

“We are so thankful that you have taken time out of your business to attend this year’s conference,” said Chris Diehl, the host of Saturday night’s gala. “We have spent a great few days together, and we hope that this time away from your business has energized you.”

After a catered dinner, franchisees received awards from CEO Dave Pazgan and Vice President of Operations Kathy Thiessen on behalf of 101 Mobility. Sponsors Harmar and Bruno also presented awards for categories distinct to their brand.

“We would like to thank everyone for attending this conference,” Diehl added. “We hope that you have enjoyed your time here and will continue to build up the friendships that you have made with one another. Hopefully you have learned much from this conference and have plenty of fun, new ideas to take home with you.”
